For the first time ever, the Colorado Women’s Hall of Fame awarded three scholarships in 2016 to women advancing their education. We have since given out scholarships every year.

Through your continued support, and generous donations this enables us to provide scholarship funds to the Colorado Women’s Education Foundation (CWEF) who awards and recognizes these outstanding women who are not only continuing their education but have shown leadership and community service in addition to strong scholarship.  In honor of the Hall’s founder, M.L. Hanson ( pic above) one of the scholarships presented in 2016 is in her name. Hanson founded the Hall in 1985 to recognize the women of Colorado who were trail-blazers, humanitarians, entrepreneurs and great contributors to the Colorado community and landscape.
